Stock Recovery Autopilot is provided by Osama Ibrahim. This policy describes the information the app handles when a Shopify merchant installs and uses it. Questions or requests can be sent to oimigy@outlook.com.

Information we process

We process the merchant's shop domain, app authentication and staff session information supplied by Shopify, product and variant data, inventory and availability signals, matching rules, selected fallbacks and overrides, plan status, and app-operation records. To show merchants basic recommendation analytics, we record storefront impression, click, and add-to-cart events with product and variant IDs and, when provided, an amount and currency. The app does not request customer or order records, and these analytics events do not include shopper names, email addresses, or customer IDs.

How we use and share information

We use this information to authenticate the app, calculate and display eligible alternatives, respond to product and inventory changes, provide plan access and analytics, troubleshoot issues, and answer support requests. The app runs on Heroku, where its PostgreSQL database stores app data. Shopify provides the store and subscription services. We do not sell merchant or shopper information.

Storefront behavior

The theme app block reads the selected variant and checks whether each alternative is available before showing its product card. Its analytics events are associated with a store and product or variant, not a named shopper. The app does not set a shopper tracking cookie.

Retention and deletion

We keep app data while the app is installed and needed to operate the service. When Shopify sends an app-uninstall or shop-redaction webhook, we delete that shop's app records from the active database. Limited operational backups or logs may remain temporarily under the hosting provider's retention controls. You can request assistance or ask questions about deletion at the support email above.

Security and updates

The app uses Shopify authentication and HTTPS connections. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy when the service changes; the current version will be posted at this URL.
